Reinvesting in research from the ground up
Germinal’s Research Station has been established to spearhead a new programme of trials and development work geared to helping UK farmers create more resilient and sustainable businesses. Through our work at the Research Station and our wider collaborations, we are building a knowledge hub that will benefit UK livestock farmers and the industry at a time when the need to maximise returns from forage is greater than it has ever been.
This visit will provide an overview of the Germinal Research Station and includes a tour of the plot trials. We’ll be sharing our current work including the latest grass breeding developments, multi species mixtures, brassica establishment and management, maize variety screening and other critically important R & D.
As a key customer, we’d like you to be among the first to visit our new Germinal Research Station in Wiltshire, to gain valuable insight into our on-going forage crop trials and demonstration programme.
We are offering one of four tour opportunities, as follows:
The location of the Germinal Research Station is:
Vernon Farm, Bowerhill, Melksham, Wiltshire, SN12 6RE.
If you can join us for any of the tours, please indicate your preferred time and confirm your attendance by contacting sarah.hoyle@germinal.com or registering below by 30th August 2019.
